The Great Belt

The Great Belt Paid Connection is a 4 lane toll expressway and you can pay toll in several ways. You can pay by cash or credit card and you can buy a digital unit called brobizz which automatically registrates your passings and withdraws the toll from your credit card. Utilising a bropas saves 5 % of the toll fee.

Crossing the Great Belt Fixed Link makes you eligible to discounts on more than 10,000 hotels, attractions and expositions throughout Denmark. Attractions such as Tivoli, Lego Land, Copenhagen Zoological Garden and other great attractions in Denmark offers up to 20 % price reduction on visitants showing a price reciept from the Great Belt Paid bridge.

Besides hotels like the Radisson hotel chain, several hundred inn’s and different sorts of accomodation offers 20 % rebate on your rest in Denmark.

On-line reservation

If you are fording the Great Belt for commercial enterprise, i.e. busses and lorries, you can pay in front via our on-line reservation scheme. Bus companies and cargo companies can work a business agreement with the Great Belt Consortium and use the reservation scheme to gain smoother crossing at the Toll Station.

Travel in Denmark

Denmark is a little land on top of the European continent, covering only 43.000 square km. Denmark has more than 8.000 kilometers of seashore as Denmark is made up of the Jutland Peninsula and the main islands of Funen and Sealand.

Travelling in Denmark has constantly included ferries in some way or other, but since 1998 it has been possible to cross the Great Belt by the Great Belt Fixed Link. The Paid Connection between Funen and Sealand contains the Eastside Span, a 6,790 meter suspension bridge from Sealand to Sprogoe and an 6,600 meter long bridgework between Sprogoe and Funen.
