Yaz is a popular birth control pill that is taken by millions of women around the world every year. As of late, Yasmin has been affiliated with certain serious Yaz side effects and possibly life-threatening injuries. Women taking Yaz, or its generic form Ocella, have reportedly suffered gallbladder disease, blood clots, among other serious health problems. Among the recent tilts surrounding Yasmin, Yaz and Ocella birth control, the pills also include drospirenone, an ingredient not in other oral contraceptives. The British Medical Journal released studies in August 2009 recording an increased risk of venous blood clots in adult females taking drospirenone as opposed to those who used other oral contraceptives. In the same month, the Food & Drug Administration issued an non-related advisory to Bayer Pharmaceuticals, makers of Yaz, for using low-quality batches of drospirenone from a plant in Germany. A month after the elections, American attorney and former chairman of the Republic National Committee, Kenneth Mehlman, reminded the Republican Party governors that they needed to rectify the mistakes they committed in the previous elections. If not, they will face years of political storm.

On November 30, 2006, exactly 23 days after the elections, at an annual meeting with the Republican Governors Association, Ken Mehlman stressed that the Grand Old Party (or the GOP) governors must go back to “good policy that makes good politics.”

On Nov.7 that year, the Democratic Party won most of the governorships and gained control over the White House and the Senate since the 1994 Republican revolution. While they are out of authority in Washington, the residual non-winning GOP governors took up a higher public profile. They may even pave the way for an achievable political comeback with the Republican Party.

Ken Mehlman addressed the governors in the yearly meeting and told them that they were “the greatest and most innovative think tank in politics” and that they are very much needed by the Republican Party and the nation. They were expected to do what they do best, “to change government for changing times.”

“If that is the approach we take, then we are destined to spend far more than one term in the minority,” Mehlman said. “And we as a party will deserve it.” At the end of 2006, Ken Mehlman stepped down as the chairman of the Republic National Committee.

An Educational and Dove Hunting Trip in Argentina Feb. 2006 Pa has a limit of 12 Doves per day. So you can imagine that this is not where you will find me. I took my son Jamie and went to Argentina where there is no limit. We were accompanied by several friends from the area . We spent a week on this trip. We were able to see some of this finest Dove hunting areas in the world. There are millions of doves in this region of Argentina near Cordoba. Over the last two decades, Cordoba province has become synonymous with the phrase “High-volume dove hunting.” The region has a delightful climate that allows grain crops such as corn, sorghum, wheat and peanuts to flourish most of the year. This enormous food supply is bordered and interspersed with density hillside roosting cover, and the combination of food source and roost has produced a population of Zenaida Auriculata estimated to be over 20 million birds — Argentina doves that do not migrate, reproduce up to four times annually and provide literally year-round shooting. These birds have been estimated to consume up to one third of the grain crops in the area. Dove hunting in Argentina is an activity that must be experienced rather than explained. Dove and Pigeon are considered to be plague in the area, so there are no bag limits or seasons for hunting them. Hunters regularly use two guns and a reloader to prevent barrel overheating, as they may go through 1,000 ( a thousand) rounds in a morning. Because of this last reason and the fact that they are considered a plague, the local authorities have not established any bag limits or special seasons for dove hunting.

This trip to Argentina also provided us with information and ideas for on our ranchs and farms in the USA. Soils in Argentina can grow good crops with little fertilizer and have fewer pest and disease problems. Farm laborers work cheap, and chemical costs are low. This will make our farms less competitive. There is no doubt that Argentina has made great advances in ag production and will be real competition to crops that are grown on our farms. The lands around Cordoba that we visited are flat and very fertile with a long growing season. There will be low cost soil erosion controls needed. Easily making it a bread basket for the world. We can be competitive. We can must expand on our altnernative use for our American farmlands. We must increase the recreational oportunities for our farms to help them stay competitive. Our transportation infrastructure is much better in the United States. Most roads outside the major urban areas are poor quality dusty, potholed, and rough. Our farms have easier access to capital for growth and markets for sales and urban areas. Our markets are better and more established. Our dollars is also more stable than the Argentine Pesos. This gives us better funding advantages. I also suspect that American Ag extension agencies and colleges are better and more available to educate our rural population. Afterall, education is the real key to our future in successful farm management and operations.

Many are quick to point out the benefits of religion in civilization as the bond that keeps us together; a bond, which keeps society from disrupting into chaos and spontaneously turning to anarchy. Yet, to do so without discussion of the flip side of the coin is misleading at best. Religion may have its place in mankind’s groupings, but we must understand what we give up for it in return for its few benefits.

Some of these draw backs to religion are the loss of innovation from self derived will, having replaced that with the will of God, told to us by those who control that line of thinking in a particular religion. Some say that religion has helped man survive over the last 100,000 years of modern man. Religion has been known to cause incredible wars and helped mislead people into having wars, which are not very bright. Religion as a control mechanism has been able to allow humans to forget their innate needs of self-preservation and give them to a cause, even give up his life for a line of reasoning completely controlled and modified to fit another man’s personal gain of power or will.

Religion based on good versus evil seems to be one of interesting, and actually hard to condemn on the surface. The problem with this is that it is too easily left for interpretation of what is good and what is evil. It is easy to say something or someone is evil having no real experiences with that set of persons, state or that populations belief systems and form of government.

Black, Red, yellow, is evil for instance; Why? Because the other team wears those colored jerseys or the other country has those colors on the flag. Often religion uses this realm of logic to build its power base of little human followers. To build any team you need a cause and one people joining the team can relate with. If you need to build a strong team, a strong adversary; therefore “Evil” is often a good cause to fight. Next step simply find something to name evil and make it believable. In some cases we pick an easily defeat able enemy and blow him out of proportion, this serves the enemy’s goals too, for his power base recruitment of followers.

Osama Bin Ladin therefore was considered a strong enemy, although in numbers not too strong. Lots of followers, although not too many followers; such a little clan could not put a dent in the human population of 6.6 Billion humans or could they? They certainly were doing their duty on the people of Afghanistan and growing drugs for the whole world and thus polluting the minds of men, women and children the world over. Polluted minds are more easily led astray and controlled by their leadership and religions. Some may have appreciated the dummying down effect these drugs had on their populous allowing them less hardship in the control of their people. On the surface Osama Bin Ladin’s trained bad guys appear to be strong warriors for Allaah, but really they are being led astray and brainwashed. They have given their minds to serve Osama, who conveniently modified the religion. So the great warriors are merely weak men with weak minds following like ship to their death to serve the will of the hijacker of Islam. The human innate will and their minds has been modified for the greed of a single man. They these warriors are then able to achieve strength from a band of guys of like mind or lack of mind. They are further brain washed.

When we look at World Religions are they really any better than these renegade scourge of the Earth pitiful little humans causing a ruckus or are they just doing it a little less obvious on a lot bigger scale? Think about it.
